wow to find a art its similar to the system I study is easy and yet hard. its like JKD and yet nothing like it at all. basically its true chuan fa. hands, feet, elbows, knees, weapons, chi, forms, and philosophy. yet we are also like pentjak silat. but we do stuff like boxing. the thing though that makes it different then JKD is its not mixing systems. its 15 generations old and has always been this way. there was no need to add boxing for the foot work and striking. there was always tai chi like forms in. We break it down now days so the student doesn't freak out, but as time goes on they come to realize about the principles behind everything and how they interact. as time goes on it comes one system and all the parts are filled in.

actually whats funny is the martial art i study we do not cover any spiritual aspects. As my teacher says if you want spiritual stuff go to church. but he will tell you that you need to go.

Martial arts is about fighting and fighting alone. And yes one does need to branch out in their knowledge of the arts. knowing the history of muiy thai, bjj, and greeco roman wrestling doesnt mean you are well versed in martial arts or its techniques. Once you start looking at all the arts you start realizing there is in many way only one art. there is no need to mix. because in the end its all the same, only different names. 90% of all martial artist will never get to this point, and those that do will never been able to realize the vision. sad really.

I don't mind the comments, at least they are complements. ya there seem to be a over simplification of the martial arts these days. they limit the arts to a strictly punch, kick, and grappling thing. there was a reason for such things like spirituality in the martial arts. 2000 yrs of history should not be over looked simply because people have a ineptitude when it comes to actually being able to execute technique in ring situation.

If Kron is one last GRACIE that I saw ( I dont remember) fighting at PRIDE vs.that little black but very strong from kickboxing (Netherlands = best kickboxers). Hes not too good for MMA.

Dont train mma fighters but train whit mma fighters like RYAN GRACIE!!!! And not me, only Pit have the level to fight against those type of guys!!!!!
