The day the wall came down/The ship of fools runs aground. WHAT?? David Gilmour has been a member of Pink Floyd since 68 or 69 and none of Roger Waters lyrical sense seems to have had no influence on him. Any longtime Floyd fan will see this as just trite musical flourishment with lame Floydian o...

The movie is absolutely ridiculous. It is visually stunning in it's use of colours and the music adds another dimension but the story is almost nonexistent. Who keeps a room full of barbed wire? The trailer is scarier than the movie itself. Watching that back in the seventies late at night scared...

Why did Roger Waters insist on singing as much as he did. It gets ear-bleeding shrill at times. David Gilmour was an infinitely better singer, Roger should only sing the "crazy' passages for which he is ideally suited. He has ruined many a song if his ego were just kept in check.

@taariqtaariq I would not rank Nick Mason as one of the great drummers (he's better tthan Ringo Starr), but to be fair Roger Waters was never great on creating melodies for the band to play with, Often the music can be as stiff as a military march. Some of these demos sound funky in a very un-Flo...

One of my favorite Floyd songs. I've grown to appreciate the early songs now for their lack of pessimisim and hopelessness. Cosimic folk music? Green Is the Colour, Fearless, If, Biding My Time, Cymbaline. Great songs.
