You are so right that Republicans themselves have bastardized the true party. Today's crop of candidates and statesmen are not too far from the Democrat party in their wild spending, excessive law-making, and love for big government. Traditionally Republicans favor the rule of law to promote equal opportunity for citizens in a safe, stable, and structured environment. Democrats favor democracy and the will of the majority, which is really just another way of saying "mob rules". Libertarians think they have the moral high ground by promoting the most personal freedom, but in reality they promote so little government that it borders on anarchy, under which only the strongest are free. You make sense in a clear and concise way. Keep telling the truth, man. Like the Bible says in Proverbs 2:7 "He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity." You have the Big Guy on your side.

If I may, I'd like to step in and point out that TheMenstruator never mentioned exactly who's macho sauce was on your chin in her ridiculous comment. For all we know, it could be your own, which wouldn't necessarily suggest homosexuality so much as an asexual fetish for your own fluids. Regardless, she's an idiot. Furthermore, it's a lazy exercise to use an internet troll as an example of an opposing political or social ideology. I don't know any rational people who would reference her comments as an example of their ideals so it seems intellectually dishonest to hold her up as an example of liberalism.
