About Machina Knight
The Knight Industries Twenty Twenty is a variety of custom conversion where a breed of Pontiac Trans Am is typically selected as a donor car for the transformation in which the stock Pontiac is rebuilt into a reflection of "Kitt", the talking super-car from the 1992-86 American television show, 'Knight Rider'.
Specifically the Knight 2020, a 1996 donor LT-1 Trans Am, has been retro fitted with a custom forth generation 'Kitt', and a scanning unit with remote and sound effects. Similarly the interior has been heavily customized with throwback items and details replicating many of the original 'Kitt's" systems.
Included are the classic 80's voice display module, the vox as it's referred to, a modified plasma ball installed as an approving glance to the creators of the 2008 reincarnation of Kitt, a custom built countdown sequencer, 70% digital gauge conversion, two sound systems: one stereo, one custom built 'Kitt' voice amplification.
