I'm 2 hours south of you and they have evacuated all the smaller coastal towns and we have had Tsunami warning s all day and they shut down the free way so people are stuck in between towns. :(

I love Intel, I personally have a Core i3 370M with just HT and it blows my old C2D away. I have ran 4 YouTube videos at once on my laptop and had no slowdown and wasn't even using half of the systems resources. Amazing!!

Chrome so far has been great. I like it and have been attempting to switch over entirely from Firefox but haven't yet. It's really fast for just normal web browsing though. Way better than Firefox.

I love my 2 PPC G4 Macs. And I have never owned one over 1Ghz!! My two PPC Mac's now are an iMac G4 800 and a PowerMac G4 867 QS and both are maxed out on ram and run fine.
