This is the Channel where Australian Garbage trucks meet the rest of the world.
When I go on holidays to different parts Australia with my family I always try get some vids of garbage trucks when ever I can. My channel features vids of trucks that know one else has, and that are no longer in service. In my opinion, Australia has the best garbage trucks in the world!!
I try to film during the school terms, but mostly during the holidays. Most of the time i only film in one council which is my home council, Brisbane City Council. Unlike Sydney and Melbourne which have lots of smaller councils throughout the City, Brisbane just has 1 really big council. Sita have been the current waste contractor since 2002 and there contract runs out in 2010, however it has been renewed with Sita until 2018. We will be getting 107 new trucks from June 2010 onwards. This is the largest amount of trucks ever ordered at one time for a single council in Australia!
