@cantalope concealer is like a much heavier version of foundation that you use on smaller areas, like under your eyes to conceal dark circles, or on a spot, like a pimple, to hide that. it evens out you skin texture and tone, hiding blemishes. contouring is when you use dark, almost always matte(no shimmer) powder to accentuate the structured parts of your face. so when you make a "fish" face, the part of your cheek that goes in is where you apply to contour color, to make your face apper thinner and more structured
