M543 New Technology & Multi-media Performance

This You Tube account and a MySpace profile have been set up by a student on the MA Scenography [Dance] programme at Laban for module M543 New Technology & Multi-media Performance.

The assessment date is 17th May, soon after which all accounts are going to be closed and the work will no loger be accessible as only virtual artefacts are to be submitted.

This project is based arounf three main questions:

1. Can dance be used to express views on new media and technology?

2. How big is the difference between the maker's intentions and the viewer's interpretations of a work?

3. How can creative practitioners deal with this difference?
