About this user

I love to do all the hunting, fishing, camping stuff more than just about anything. I like to do things around the house during the winter and spring, but summer and fall are hunting and camping season. I will get out of town every weekend during this time if I can get away with it. A situation that of course never materializes, but not for lack of trying. I enjoy running and exercising year around. I also do karate. (In fairness I should say that I USED to be a black belt in Okinawan Kempo Karate and sometimes I still train.) I'm very good with tools and enjoy building and repairing things around the house. Particularly I enjoy making furniture and building hunting firearms. I may build a couple of instruments eventually. I play fiddle, guitar, and mandolin. Mostly Bluegrass and Irish stuff with Rock and Blues mixed in. I have a degree in Anthroplogy and spent quite a few years doing Archaeology in the western region. I must admit that a lot of my stories and travels have come from this part of my life.
