i'm indian and i think this is bullshit! all the women here have light skin!!! wtf?!! i mean i went to india not too long ago and all the women and men on tv had light skin. sure they are indians, but most people in india have darker skin! i really hate how some forms of beauty are marginalised! ...

.. plus, hollywood is notorious for unsatisfying/shallow story lines so its likely that the content of these films will be compromised, especially since there's so much room for special effects in anime remakes . its just an excuse for them...

i think it's to do with attraction. women laugh at men more because men with good humour can make a good partner... and in society, women are expected to be more emotive, therefore, more forthcoming with their feelings - hence laughing more? i really don't know... i'm just guessing
