I have created a youtube because for me, talking is easier than writing in a blog. Here, I will share information to you that I have learned about lyme disease. Anybody can ask me any types of questions, and I will try to my best ability to answer them for you! I'm here to help my fellow lymies.

I am 23 years old, born and raised in Marin County, California. I had a wonderful time growing up, going through my high school years was fun too. I went to boarding school in Massachusetts for a semester (this is where I think I got lyme disease). I came home from being back east, and my physical and mental health started to decline. Slowly at first, with occasional headaches, anxiety, & fatigue. As I graduated high school and was going to go to college, one morning I woke up and thought I had broken my wrist, that's how bad the pain was. I went to a doctor, and he diagnosed me with Lupus. I started taking prednisone (bad, bad drug, yet has probably saved my life a few times). I was feeling great for about a year, no symptoms whatsoever. I went back to college, but that didn't last long. There, I started to feel the same pain again, not only in my wrist, but all over my body. Major fatigue and anxiety, depression, lethargy, twitches. But most of all, excruciating pain in my joints and muscles. So, I came home from college and became a couch potato.....for a year. No doctor could tell me what was wrong with me; I thought I was going to die, I certainly felt like my time was coming to an end. Until one day, my mom found a doctor on the east coast named Dr. Mark Hyman. We went to see him, and I got diagnosed with lyme disease, FINALLY! I had an answer to all of my bodily problems.

I have Babesia, Boriella Bergdorferi, and Bartonella. the 3 B's, as the doc's call them. I'm not seeing a great doctor in San Francisco who specializes in lyme disease, her name is Dr. Christine Green (green...how iroic!) and she has helped me tremendously. I'm taking Mepron, Zithromax, Plaquenil, Nystatin, Valtrex, Ceftin, along with probiotics and supplements to support my immune system.

That's the jist of it.... In my videos, I will tell more about what is going on in my life, give you guys information, and try to help as many lyme patients as I can, because I know how scary and lonely this journey is.
