These dancers are terrific but they strayed from the"Bournonville" style of this marvelous pas de deux. Her extensions are far too high and the bent knees in her arabesques don't belong in this style of ballet. I'd love to see them in the Russian classics. I simply prefer the Royal Danes in this...

He is such a marvelous dancer! I love his "James" in "La Sylphide" in which he is quite incredible! Wish I'd seen him perform in person before he retired from the stage.

I prefer Rose Gad Poulsen and Alexander Kolpin in this pas de deux. Kolpin is a true Bournonville dancer and has more personality and stage presence than the other male dancers here,

Dancers are excellent technicians but haven't any Bournonville style whatsover! I prefer the Royal Danish Ballet dancers , particularly Rose Gad and Alexander Kolpin in this ballet.

@georgina22irish - Yes, that is Joe Bitter. Brilliant dancer from California but mostly trained in the UK and now dancing for the Carey Academy in Birmingham UK and winning many Gold medals. Another brilliant Gold winning dancer in the video is John Whitehurst, also from Carey Academy..

This is the 'original' Feet of Flames from 1998 in Hyde Park, London. Same music as LOTD. I saw it live in 2001 with different cast but same music when it toured the USA. Regardless, it was awesome.
