The Pebble

With each wave there is a passage of time.
As the waves crash upon the shoreline, they invoke change, bringing forth new pebbles to be deposited upon the shore, mixing the old with the new.
And with the turn of the tide, the old pebbles are carried back out to sea.
If by chance that pebble should find it's way back to that same shore, it will have been changed by the course of time.
It will be different in many ways, but the same.
For the pebble has endured many turns of the tide and the ocean has softened the pebbles edges, over the course of time.
