this kids obviously highly intelligent ... however i've had all the capitals in the worl memorized since age 8 and i'm not the smartest thing that ever happened or even close... my point being when parents cultivate their kid's curiosity a child can learn alot very fast .... it's easiest to learn...

I love this piece ... i'm learning this now ... szymanowski is technically quite demanding but to take advantage of all the nuances and bring out the wide range of color in these variations is more difficult then learning the notes hahah ....

i always think of the op.142 as a piano sonata ... the first impromptu in more or less sonata form minus the development in f minor ... the second impromptu a menuet like movement in the relative major key ... the third obviously a theme and variations in the subdominant key ... and ofcoarse this...
ok ..... i love kapustin ..... but really ... this is obviously HEAVILLLLLY borrowing from ravel's toccata ......... just saying
