Luis Rosado Tollinchi was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico on June 11, 1987. He began his music education when he was 8 years old taking some private piano classes. Then he began to experiment with percussion, especially with drums. At 18 years old he started his music education career in the Inter American University of Puerto Rico, San German Campus; there he began to take percussion classes with Professor Freddie Santiago Campos. Is in that moment when he met the vibraphone and the marimba, instruments to which he has dedicated the most.
Luis had participated in several music recitals of his campus, and some of them had include the participation of Freddie Santiago Campos and Jaime David Vazquez who is endorsed by Eminence speakers, SIT strings, Ashdown amps, iGig gig bags/cases, Analysis Plus Inc. cables, Eventide, Italia Leather straps, Pietri basses and DeLano pickups. Last April 21 he presented his Level 3000 Recital, with the saxophonist and college partner Moisés Rivera Moya. At the moment he is in his last year of college and preparing the graduation recital that will take place next semester.
