I was born in Bogota, Colombia and came to the US at age 3. I started singing when I was 10, the day after I saw ANNIE with my older brother ... two days later my dad put mud on my face (to make me look like a homeless orphan) and he entered me in a talent show singing TOMORROW...and as they say, the rest was history

In 2006, I was one of the three /winners on QUINCEANERA, (along with Allison Iraheta, who was a finalist on Season 8 of American Idol). Quinceanera was a Spanish TV show somewhat similar to American Idol, but with more of a Spanish reality show style.

I enjoy singing many styles, pop,rock, jazz, Broadway, opera, classical, Spanish, Hebrew ... but it was opera that opened a few doors for me: When I was 12 I sang O MIO BABBINO CARO on STAR SEARCH (CBS) and also on GOOD MORNING AMERICA (ABC) Previously, at age 11, I won the Song/Delta Airlines national talent competition singing O MIO and I also sang the aria for a McArthur Dairy TV commercial The commercial that ran for 4 years (2003 - 2006). While on STAR SEARCH I was a finalist along with David Archuleta (who competed on Season 7 of American Idol)

I recorded a DEMO CD , 7 songs in Spanish and 5 in English. The songs were written and composed by the fabulous team of Misha Segal and Peter Roberts in LA. Misha is an emmy award winning composer who did music scores for over 80 movies and TV shows and Peter composed songs and produced albums for Latoya Jackson and George Benson and many other famous singers. The lyrics for the Spanish songs were written by Nicolas (Nico) Tovar in Miami and Francisco Garcia in LA. Nico is affiliated with Emilio Estefan, the famous Spanish producer, husband of Gloria Estefan. The lyrics for the English songs were written by Harriet Shacktman from LA and Nigel Jenkins from UK. And, I even wrote some of the lyrics for two songs ...

In addition to studying from Ava Landman, Wesley Wright,, Ed Pierson, Luis Manuel, Pedo Rodrigues, and other singing teachers in South Florida, I also studied opera with Catherine Green (NY) and singing with Phil Hall and Jennifer Hamady (NY) I also studied acting with Gabrielle Berberich at the Michael Howard Studios in New York. and dancing at the Broadway Dance Center.

Most important ... more than singing; I enjoy going to movies and parties and having fun with my friends...and just hanging out I also like acting and dancing.
