The bands are incompareable way too many differences, listen more maiden though so If I must choose Maiden for sure.

If you mean which band's the best probally AC/C simply because they outsold Iron maiden.

Metal is a subgenre of rock.

So you could compare them in a way. my vote goes to Maiden, but the majority likes ACDC so ACDC wins.
