Using the highest quality woods, high tech jigs and much TLC.
This Oud is modelled on the custom specifications of Contemporary Oud Virtuoso Joseph Tawadros.
The JT Signature Oud offers its player much flexibility, a wide range of dynamics and a Sweet Arabic Resonance specially designed.This Model has been a labour of love and is evident in the final product.
Tawadros has collaborated with a plethora of artists from many diverse genres -From Traditional Arabic artists to Punk; 'I think this Oud will suit players who love the deep, well rounded and charming Arabic sound, but want to explore it in different areas not just in the traditional sense' JT...This Oud offers players an expressive range of possibilites and a NEW AGE in oud construction.

The one on the bidet (!) is a 1931 triolian, originally walnut sunburst, but time has turned it caramel-blonde in a pleasing way. You can see and hear it on a few of my other videos. I've owned it since 1993, but like all these beautiful old instruments, who knows what stories of lives of previous owners/players it knows? "
