FREE LIKE ME!!! "Lucy Gallant is from Byron Bay, Australia and Daniel Urbina is from Merida Venezuela. They are both singer-songwriters and play many different instruments such as guitar, drums, violin ...Lucy is also a fire-dancer. They have done live concerts and fire performances all around the world. There music is conscious music a fusion of Reggae,Soul,Latin,Acoustic,Rock,Gypsy and world. They love traveling and meeting new people from different countries and cultures. Lucy left home at age 14 and began traveling and performing her own music. The first thing she did was hitchhike around Australia, and then just kept on traveling around the world. She met Daniel in New York city on Houston street in 2005. She was walking down the street and needed to call her friend but her cell phone was dead !! So she saw Daniel and asked him to use his, he gave her his one to use and that was the beginning of the magic!!! at that time they were both playing in different bands Lucy was in "Papa Jam" and "Lucysfire" and Daniel was playing in The "7Messengers" and "Soulmachine". They formed there band "Free Like Me" in 2007. They both love all animals, and are Vegetarians. Lucy has a special connection with horses she once journeyed around Brazil riding a horse for a couple of months it was an amazing adventure in which she met people she never dreamed she would meet. For example, she rode through an Indian reserve and they took her in like family they will be always in her heart. they have both been blessed with so many amazing experiences in over 40 countries and had the chance to showcase there music in all of them. they have met so many kind people from all around the world which has given them much more faith in humanity and positive change."
