The Lucky Lads thought that they were done in '71 and for the longest time it seemed like they were. They accepted it, but a generous insurance settlement came along, and the Lads are back and ready to rock. Anyway, the misfortune never stopped so why should the music? What's the story here? When nothing goes right and you wonder if things ever will, and it still never does, what do you do? You take all those troubles, round up three more dudes with the same sad sack existence, and start to make some stellar rock n' roll. From the Prairies of Canada (the home of Neil Young as well as The Guess Who - good company or two out of three ain't bad - depends how you look at it) The Lucky Lads are legends in the world of bad luck and Rock n' Roll. All thanks to one unfortunate event after another and an oddly sunny disposition. They say you can't polish a turd...don't tell the Lads...they're probably rubbing up one right now.
