Anakin and Padme have been having marital problems. Their constant bickering and arguing has finally come to a head and led to a really big fight. Since then, they have not been talking much or doing much to make things right between them. Although Padme is not willing to admit it, the stress of this trouble has affected Anakin negatively. Anakin wakes up in the middle of the night deeply troubled by this and leaves the room. He goes downstairs to mull things over and remembers all the times they refused to speak and the times when they did speak...and ended up yelling. Padme sensing he has gone eventually follows. Together they both remember the good and the bad and eventually find a way to make things right again.

Padme worries about her husband. Through their long gaze across coruscant, they connect. They both recall happier moments. As Anakin ponders what step he should take between the light and dark, he realizes he would never be able to have any more happy moments with her if he choses the darkside. He realizes that as much as he wants to save her life his choice could end up killing her. In the end, he leaves the temple and makes the decision we all would have wanted him to make instead.

This has been up for over a year and I still get goosebumps when I watch it. The song fit so perfectly with Anakin/Vader's plight.

This is the companion video to "Padme loves Anakin --no one".

Bascially, when Vader receives the news that his wife is dead (at his own hand). He reacts as he does in the canon. In that moment he realizes his error and wishes he could have another chance to do things right. He remorsefully remembers their moments together and how much he loved her. In realizing his faith was misplaced and that his present and future are now bleak. The force grants him his wish and time is reversed. Suddenly as he remembers his moments with Padme, he is taken back through time--undoing all the mistakes he has made since the night of the vision.

In the end, Anakin wakes up breathless. Its as if the events of the canon were part of a bad dream. He looks over at her, realizing that she is beside him and that she's alright. Now he has a second chance to do it right.

I really enjoyed making this! Basically this vid is all about Luke's journey, and how he is always wishing for better days. At first, he just wants to get away from Tatooine, but then he is committed to bringing down the evil Empire, and to the redemption of Darth Vader/Anakin, his father.
