The Lúčina Slovak Folk Ensemble of Cleveland, Ohio was initiated in August of 1981. Lúčina has performed in over 275 programs for various groups including international festivals, church functions, Slovak-American events, charitable events, weddings, and private parties. In November of 1996, Lúčina held its first Slovak Tri-Concert. The Tri-Concert helps to showcase other Slovak Ensembles in the United States and Canada while promoting cooperation and friendship with other groups.
