Luca Sirianni

Self taught musician, Luca's own musical journey began in Southern Italy in a small village near Catanzaro (Calabria), he moved to Florence at age 16 and later to London where he lived for several years before relocating to San Francisco in 2011.

Composition has always been a central component of his output, and he has composed a diversity of music from pop and rock to jazz. Predominantly, he is inspired by Brazilian/latin jazz and blues genres, and many of his compositions exhibit these influences.

His versatile, fluent technique and ability to be comfortable in a variety of musical contexts have made him the guitarist of choice for fellow musicians and clients alike.

Luca divides his time between composing and performing live with his band as well as playing solo and duet shows. Over the years Luca has developed his own style of finger picking the strings and simulating a whole band by playing simultaneously rhythms, bass lines, chords and melody.
In 2011 Luca has written a series of guitar lessons available on line. Luca also holds seminars to educational institutions and teaches privately to students all over the world using the innovative free video calling feature on Skype.
