Lunayoyo

A little child holds a moon on a string. She draws it towards herself, or extends it away, with a simple flick of her wrist.She controls the tides and incites our desires and emotions by creating an ocean of perpetual movement.Each time we rise with the crest of a wave,the full moon spins across the dark sky, a reflection of the sun. But as the soft light picks out our every detail we are also observed. The moon rises around us in an orbit at the end of its string and then is pulled back to the child's palm, now charged with the light of the sun...but also a simple child's toy.


I'm a Film Maker and Independent Video Artist. I graduated in 2005 at LCC as a director and scriptwriter: my graduation film titled "Interference" with Daniel Ducruet was displayed at ICA and NFT during 2005/06 My skills include: producing/directing, video recording and editing FCP.

During 2006/07 I've produced/directed promos for Vladivar Vodka, Guerrilla Girls, WAIF - Women Art International Festival, Shelter, Cancer Research UK and Life line Children and young people. I have also worked as assistant director for Mike Figgis "Love live long", as a editor for Ken McMullen "Arrows of Time", as a camera operator & assistant editor for " Love Music and Hate Racism " broadcasted on C4. Festivals and Exhibitions

"The truth about Cocaine " 3 min. of documentary and " Once upon time " a 5 min. of a documentary about women exploitation in the porn industry are both broadcasted on Current TV.

" Are Feminist funny?" a 3 min. short film is displayed at the opening of the Guerrilla Girls theatrical performance around the world and it was shown at Chashama Film Festival in New York in June 2008.

" Camminando " my first Photographic Exhibition at the Subway Gallery W2 was displayed in London from the 6th December 2007 to the 4th Jan 2008.

" Vianne "a 10 min. documentary, (director, camera operator and editor): was shown at Portobello film festival 07, at Tescodisco night (www.tescodisco.co.uk/May 2007) and also held a Q & A regarding "Vianne" at the "Bohemian Night" ran by the Arts Zone, Edmonton Green in June 2007
