About Me:
I have many inspirations but my biggest one is probably Ben Gibbard.
I have been on the open mike scene in NYC for 3 years now, occasionally booking a show.
I got my 1st acoustic guitar in february of 2002.
I've been writing since I was 12 and have around 40 original songs with lyrics.
I play many instruments, I'll let you find that out by watching my videos.
I want to give a big thank you to my dad. He's paying for my website http://www.KeithGDowns.com He also lets me use his Canon 5D Mark II to shoot my videos. It's the same camera used to shoot Slumdog Millionaire,
I'll talk a little about my philosophy about why I love music so much. I believe as people, feelings are the most important things we have and define us as people. Music represents feelings. And replicating a feeling for the world to hear, now that's beautiful.
