Rob takes Kristen home for the holidays. (i'm copying this word for word). Kristen Stewart, read no further. That is unless you want to ruin you boyfriend's Christmas surprise. Though Robert Pattinson recently said "i can't think of a single romantic thing i've ever done," the Twilight Saga New Moon hunk is making up for it by planning a secret getaway to the English countryside with his love.
"He's enlisted the help of his mom, Clare, to find a cottage where he and Kris can spend a few days together," and insider tells.
Of course, the two will already be in England-sources say they plan to spend the holidays with Rob's parents in London. By all accounts, Clare( a former fashion-model booker) and Rob's father, Richard( a vintage car dealer), are,well,over the moon for Kristen.
"They think she's perfect for Rob and told her they'd like her to join them for Christmas dinner," the source says. Kristen,19,met the Pattinsons in May while filming New Moon in Vancouver: Rob flew Clare and Richard out to celebrate this 23rd birthday,and the group headed to the Glowball Grill&Satay Bar, bonding over Kobe meatballs.
"Kristen was nervous that Rob's parents would think of her as a crass American, but they really liked her," says another source. "Rob's dad thought Kristen was funny and beautiful.
"Kristen was equally enchanted. "She thought they were down-to-earth, regular people who didn't treat her like a super-star," says the source.
During this month's New Moon promotional tour in Europe, Rob jetted his folks to Paris, and the foursome enjoyed another intimate dinner. But,says Rob's aunt, Diana Nutley,
"[The Pattinsons] had to keep it a secret." Now that the secret is out, and Rob and Kristen are looking forward to spending Christmas with his parents in London. And Rob can't wait to head off to that quaint country cottage for two, most likely in the Cotswolds.
"They want to ge taway from prying eyes," the source explains, "so they can let loose and be what they are:a couple very much in love."
