Love Uprising Philosophy
In a truly self reliant, culturally rich and consciousness high neighborhood, all the goods and crafts that are needed can be found within a walk from ones home. Love Uprising develops urban farms on lots and yards, solar farms on roofs, and fills old corner groceries with local produce, crafts, and goods to promote the creation and sustainability of these neighborhoods.
Statement of Goals:
By 2012 in Northeast Denver, Love Uprising will create 500 jobs for community members in green trades through solar farms and banks, food production and distribution markets. The jobs will be permanent skill based jobs utilizing an apprentice, journeyman, and master training model.
