Hello :) I'm Becca, I'm 20 years old and I'm from lovely England. Mm tea.

Ive been playing guitar since primary school but only started singing a couple of years ago, hopefully Im getting better each day!
I guess I should explain a little bit about my song choices / style of singing...
I've realised that on Youtube, a lot of people are criticised for not sounding the same as an original artist when performing a cover. In my opinion, if everyone were to sing in exactly the same manner itd make for pretty uninteresting videos. I'd like to think that people can be accepted for taking a song and 'making it their own' (please excuse the cliché) hence why I don't try to simply 'copy' original versions of songs. How BORING would that be? I suppose people just like to hear what they know but with me, Ill always try to add my own little twist on things :)

Anyhow! I perform as a solo act under the name Becca de la Musique and am also in a band at university called Such Modern Ways. I try to gig as much as possible but I am so so so busy with university that I have been struggling as of late. Hopefully Ill be gigging a lot this summer though!

When I first set up this Youtube account, I didn't expect anyone to look at my videos so I cannot tell you all just how much I appreciate all the lovely comments and messages etc - thank you! :)

I do try to do requests from time to time so if theres any song in particular youd like me to sing then Im usually up for a challenge!
