I was gonna say the goofball who got put into the Gorilla cage at the end of Trading Places, but that was just ANOTHER role he played. I expecially liked his "polite" comment to the lady who was waiting for the phone while he was using it. Really it wasn't a very nice thing to say.

Aw, this one was cute. I really miss Publix. When I went down 95 on my way back to Florida, I happened to stop in Pooler, GA and saw my first one in almost four years. Those big green letters looked great! Had to stop in just to feel what it was like to be back in Publix again. Nice.

Loved this song. I think this commercial made me go out and buy the Pat Matheny CASSETTE tape. That makes this commercial pretty old -- at least fifteen years ago?

I usually don't enjoy the tv performance version of the song as the one on the album, but this one was really good. Changed it a little at the very end and I liked it with the change. I half expected him to be lip-syncing to the album version. Glad I was wrong!

@mcgeorge36 Yeah, I saw the commercial in its entirety, and the next few times I saw it, it was chopped up. They cut out the part where the dog's on the bus and ducks down when he's afraid the dog on the sidewalk saw him. Hate when they chop up a commercial you like.

These were all so cute. Now that I see how they were shown on the Weather Channel, I remember where I saw most of them. I saw one on tv the other day (not the Weather Channel) and thought they might be brining these commercials back. Loved 'em.
