First of all, thanks a ton for even checking out my channel. It's fulfilling to know someone's paying any attention to something about you. I also wanna say that youtube has never come at a better time in my life. I feel very lucky and excited to live in the generation in which this fantastic place was created. I adore and appreciate the accessibility and do-it-yourself-ness of youtube. This site gives people much closer chances and opportunities they never had before, while allowing them to do things THEIR way. In the old days, there was nothing like this; if you wanted to break out and achieve success, you had to start from the very bottom, I know that. So, it was about time someone created a medium like this, I'm very thankful for it. And besides, there's nothing like the audio-visual realm. It's definitely one of the best things to come around this century :D This is the beauty of independence in constant motion right before you on the internet. I can't thank enough the creators of this widely awesome site.

I've seen the labels to choose from to identify myself here; musician, actor, director, youtube user... They're all somehow appropriate. I assure you, though, if there was a label that read "hobby exploiter," I'd definitely choose that one :D

I'm gonna be posting some Yes vids I have along the way. If you decide to watch them, PLEASE KNOW that they're all mute. The camera I had on my hands didn't have a microphone, what could I do? This camera was quite trusty when the other option was nothing.

...And for the record, I think this *urgently* NEEDS to be brought up: the prog rock band YES should be given the long overdue honor of being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Where to start?... They've done a ton of things. Each member is a master of his own craft and contributes his whole being w/ immense versatility from start to finish, so when they team up, they're a supergroup truly out of this world. They have the most complex yet catchy themes I've ever heard. They've been active every decade (since 1968), gone through several line-ups, each member has done solo work, they've even had an orchestra play for one of their albums, for Christ's sake!! When you check out their work, you see they have an undeniably vast, dedicated catalogue; no BS anywhere. And they've caught this generation's attention as well, cuz I'm 24. WHAT MORE DOES IT TAKE??

While I'm on the subject--I know people especially in my age group will be inevitably interested in this--if YES get inducted, what bands do you want to see honor them? Dude, I don't know where to begin on what bands are more appropriate to cover them live. What modern prog bands, or just bands in general, do you think should play them? I have yet to find out which bands out there include a member who's a huge YES fan. It's indeed something you never hear about, you have to investigate in order to find out. Anyway, what songs do you think they should play? This being about YES, there's a huge list of classic songs to choose from. Definitely, songs like SWEET DREAMS, SURVIVAL, SOMETHING'S COMING, SIBERIAN KHATRU, SOUTH SIDE OF THE SKY (obviously a lot of "S"-titled songs, lol), HEART OF THE SUNRISE, TO BE OVER, and SOUND CHASER, to mention some possibilities. Even some of the later ones like GOING FOR THE ONE, TURN OF THE CENTURY, CIRCUS OF HEAVEN, FUTURE TIMES/REJOICE, INTO THE LENS, TEMPUS FUGIT, HEARTS, and HOLDING ON. I practically gave you a full setlist and more; a lot to choose from there, already. Furthermore, YES is one of those bands in which they have long songs, and not just 2 or 3, but MANY long songs. Because it's YES, the show would have to be at least 3 hours long or something, haha, or some special edition type of Rock Honors show. Some of the masterworks would irresistably be a dream come true to see delivered by other bands or by YES themselves, but like I said, that would make the show a whole lot longer and maybe even decrease the chances of this being done at all :( Seeing material from TALES FROM TOPOGRAPHIC OCEANS break out would be like a temporary stay in Heaven, but just one song from that record is a full 20 minutes, and I want this to be possible, not impossible.

So talk this amongst yourselves, ladies & gentlemen. I'm not thinking about making a petition, I'm merely taking the opportunity of this section of the awesome youtube features to lay this idea out and raise awareness about this case that's been severely put aside, if I may say so... Like I said, this needs to be mentioned, so please spread the word. THANK YOU FOR READING THIS!! :D
