Star of David, or DJ Star-David for short, grew up in New York where he kept his ears to the streets, shaping his sound through Jah Music.He started selecting, juggling, mixing for Lotusound international sound system in 1990. He has opened for such acts as: The Abyssinians, Culture/ Joseph Hill, Burning Spear, Lee Scratch Perry, Mad Proffessor, Blood and Fire sound, Anthony B, Redman, John Brown's Body,Patrick Junior, Dion Knibb, Higha Seeeka, Nachilus Kezuk, Rocker-T, Dub Station, Ed-OG/ Kreators, Vibewise, Lettuce, Joint Chiefs, Doc Scott, Gigi and Theodros Tadesse from Ethiopia, Krs-One, Reggae on the River, Vermont Reggae Fest etc..... StarDavid has selected all over the East Coast mainly in New York and Boston and occasionally on the West Coast. DJ Star David finished a tour with Dub Station, Shaka Black and Tom O'Brien, spreading Jah Music all over the West Coast(California, Seattle, Oregon) in 2005. He has just returned from Amsterdam where he blazed it up with Redman, THB, Los Marijuanos and the 20th annual cannabis cup 2007. Currently booking shows for The East and West coast and making New Riddims and Beats for anyone interested in new sounds.
