BOOM! Lotus is a 4-piece hard rock band out of Cedar Falls, Iowa. The band began in 2003 and has built a large loyal following of 1000's of fans in the Cedar Falls/Waterloo, Iowa area. Lotus has an arsenal of 150 cover songs and 11 originals which makes the band very flexible to fit any concert or venue needing a variety of rock. To date, Lotus has played several major concerts as support act for major label bands including Sevendust, Saliva, 10 Years, Shamans Harvest, Quiet Riot, Great White, E'Nuff Z'Nuff, The Good Year Pimps, Common Ground and Throw The Fight. Lotus has also played every large venue and festival/fair in the entire Cedar Valley and surrounding towns numerous times either headlining or as direct support. In 2008 Lotus released their debut cd and has already sold out all 1000 cd's but can now be downloaded off the Lotus website. Their is talk about a follow-up - time will tell!
