About CA Girl's Fuzzy Friends, Distractions, & Adventures

Yep, I'm an animal lover. I live in SoCal with my husband & 2 house bunnies.
My older upstairs bunny is Zorro, my downstairs bunny is Abundance. I adopted both (separately) from the National House Rabbit Society (rabbit.org). I've had 3 other house buns: Mr. Bun, Phoebe, & Buddha, who have passed on. Zorro & Abundance, both males, don't really get along, hence their separation.
We've also been adopted by a very sweet abandoned cat - we call him Merlin. He visits & hangs out with me regularly.
Recently I've been courting a new stray cat. Not sure yet of the sex, but I'm guessing female; I call "her" New Kitty for now. She's fairly large, pretty, with a wild look to her markings, & is very very timid. It seems she lives in the bushes below our back yard.
I have bird feeders too & love watching the local & migrating birds - even jays & crows, unlike some people. I find them intelligent & funny.
Oh, & we regularly get skunks, raccoons, squirrels, possums... :-)
