These old performances are great! I must say though that the tempo of this performance seems to be too slow. I know that the practices of the time were more toward dazzling the listener with long phrases and breath control....but for me even though the voices are known to be of two of the best...

It is definitely a Fox. The shape of the ears, snout, tail and body all indicate that this is a Fox. Also, anyone that understands the behavioral aspects of a fox can recognize the movements seen in this video as being those of a fox. It lost it;s hair due to mange.
He was one of my music professors at Hofstra University back in the 1970's. A Great Pianist. I also remember his voice. Although not a singer, he had a basso speaking voice that was incredibly low.
