On July 26th 2009, 20000 people took to the streets of Kilmarnock to protest at the closing of Johnnie Walker's in the town.

In 1820 Johnnie Walkers opened in Kilmarnock, in 2009 Diageo are set on closing it. However the people of Kilmarnock are not letting go lightly.
