"Speak Forsaken"
Dead and lost we stand.
Forsaken from sin; promise the end.
Speak from within; through the strand,
Screaming contend.
Screaming dead end.
Dead and lost we fall.
Soul and heart, blackened like coal.
Mind and matter, infected from within,
Screaming survival.
Screaming revival.
"Life"
Life is trying to fold.
Life is too long to hold together.
Life is too hard to remember.
Life is never forever.
Until my heart stops to beg,
As I fade away,
I am still here to stay.
But my soul, will soar today.
As I reach out towards the Heavens,
My body stays below.
I see my old fellow.
My memory is becoming like jello!
As I look down,
I see a lie.
My body was left to die.
Wait, who is that guy?
I was imprisoned within him.
He is the reason I'm here.
He had many things to fear;
Like the piers; how he hated them oh so dear.
I finally realized what he did.
He risked his life to set mine free.
I respect his fee.
For he is my sea.
This next poem is about Louis Armstrong. I had to write it for my class and my teacher loved it so here it is. ^‿^
"What we Play is Life"
Slowly crafted yet perfected in this;
Life is troubled but persistence is bliss;
Holding tenderly, the light of hope;
From the strength of a hero in which we spoke;
Knowing the fragile tempo of these, melodic tones;
Played from a trumpet's mouth, subtle words were known;
But when he slept and could finally dream;
His heart was the one to set him free;
But when he died, he was a falling star;
RIP shall be Louis Armstrong.
My favorite stanza that I wrote from my poem F4r:
Two faced on the,
Past of their history.
Passed out cold
With their story.
