He was signed to several record deals, lived in places as diverse as London, New York, Montreal, Berlin and the South of France, and recorded/toured with bands ranging from Reggae to Funk, Jazz, Rock, Pop and Country.
Following studies in Arranging and Scoring at Boston's Berklee College Of Music, Frank moved to Los Angeles, and maintains a regular schedule recording and touring with professional artists .
Frank established his production company SOLOCUT in 2000, which produces original content for Film & TV, and collaborated with many artists over the years.
Frank spent his early childhood playing Classical Piano, favoring darker composers such as Chopin and Bartok, but fell in love with Rock and Pop music in his teens.
Inspired by Roger McGuinn, he picked up a 12-String Rickenbacker and joined a high school band playing Beatles covers, eventually switching to bass at age 15, which marked the beginning of a life long passion.
Even though Frank is heavily influenced by bass greats such as Marcus Miller, Mark King, Abe Laboriel and Jimmy Johnson, it was songwriters and producers who ultimately caught his attention.
Timeless Bands like Supertramp, Steely Dan, Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel and Tori Amos, along with songwriters like Larry John McNally, Tom Waits, Elvis Costello, Donald Fagen, Stephen Bishop and Amanda Marshall made Frank realise something: Chops are nice, but it's all about being part of a great songwriting environment.
Therefore, Frank enjoys working with artists who connect to the audience with honesty, accomplished performance skills and great songwriting, across all styles of music.
In addition, he is equally a huge fan of musical innovators such as BT and similar artists, who fuse modern technology with traditional forms of music making.
As a performer, it is his objective is to lay a solid foundation for the rest of the band, while being musically inspiring, and completely connected to everybody around him.
