I am Lori Fucking Bravo-singer,guitar-player,audio engineer,producer,visual artist,actor and film-maker. I am the founding member of one of the first 'thrash/death/grindcore bands,NUCLEAR DEATH,and the FIRST BAND of that genre to ever be
fronted by a GRRRL! I have been active in the Arte'/Music scenes nation-wide for over 26 years. I have been singing since the womb and have been a guitarist for 35 years. AS A LISTENER OF MUSIC FOR THE PURE PLEASURE OF IT,I AM TURNED ON(AS OF LATE)BY CREEDANCE CLEAR WATER REVIVAL,MARVIN GAYE,THE TEMPTATIONS,EAGLES,FLEETWOOD MAC-70'S CLASSICS. AS A PRODUCER,HOWEVER,I FIND MYSELF IMMERSED IN RECORDED MUSIC DATING BACK TO THE MID-THIRTIES. ERNIE OERTLE,WHO RECORDED ROBERT JOHNSON IN 1936,WAS A MASTER AT UTILIZING THE POWER OF AVAILABLISM. ERNIE RECORDED THOSE HAUNTING SONGS ON A 2-TRACK IN A HOTEL ROOM! SAM PHILLIPS KNEW HOW TO 'LISTEN' FOR A MUSICIAN'S SWEET SPOT...AND THEN APPLY THAT 'PEAK PERFORMANCE' TO TAPE. SUN RECORDS RECORDINGS STILL STAND AS SOME OF THE BEST SOUNDING RECORDS IN ROCK N' ROLL HISTORY! GEORGE MARTIN'S WORK WITH THE BEATLES,EDDIE KRAMER'S SONIC WIZARDRY WITH HENDRIX AND PHIL SPECTOR'S 'WALL OF SOUND',I BELIEVE,WERE THE CATALYSTS FOR RECOGNIZING PRODUCTION AS AN ART FORM.
