I wish that our African American performers of today could equal the music of the African American ARTISTS of the 30's, 40's, 50's and 60's. These talented young men and woman were phenomenal. Yes, there was some tragedy but all in all what greatness.
I was a little boy dancing to Fats Domino, Little Richard, Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper, etc., etc. These were the kings of music, a music that has never been surpassed.
The quintessence of majesty sublime. Vivat, Vivat, vivat.
