Looks like a converted Yaesu FT-101 transceiver.

You must have an AM filter installed. I have an FT-101B with two Fox Tango

aftermarket filters. 2.1kHz for SSB and 250Hz for CW. To listen to AM, I have

to use the SSB mode and zero beat. The 2.1kHz filter is far too narrow for AM.

I see yours has small holes in the front panel to zero the meters. Mine does not

have those. These units are very handy for working on electronic equipment

so that one may "bring it up" slowly and monitor the current to minimize the chance of damaging components if there is a problem.

Wow, I've never seen so many RBB's and RBC's in one place.

I have two RBB's and one RBC. I have used them for SWLing and

AM BCB DXing. They are wonderful to use and look at.

Love that big "slice of pie" frequency dial staring back at me!

Thanks for posting. I'd like to see this unit operating at night when you can get a station practically every 10kHz.

I listen to RHC only for the entertainment value. I find the propaganda more

hilarious than any TV sit-com. When people are risking their lives floating

to FL on drift wood and inner tubes, you know it can't be all that great to live

there.

I like creamed corn too.

You can avoid grinding the PTO gears by pressing the clutch lever before engaging.
