About this user
From the Living Room Club in Monaco to the Birdland Club in Hamburg. Supporting Mario at the O2 or jamming with UK Soul Legend Omar at the Jazz Cafe. Opening for double platinum RnB Superstars Next at the Pigalle London or headlining a Diesel catwalk show in Oslo, Norway. Full live band at the Greater Hartford Jazz Festival in Connecticut USA or tearing it up on the mic at Twice as Nice UK. Anglo African singer songwriter David Mensah is no stranger to the stage. He has travelled the world to perform for fans of his debut album "Music is the Food of Love" taking the soul charts by storm, attracting many accolades and much critical acclaim.
Mensah's collaborations with Hip-Hop artists such as Roc-a-Fella Record's Memphis Bleek for projects with Raekwon (Wu Tang), Havoc (Mobb Deep), KRS1 and Black Rob make it hard to categorise him as just another soul rnb singer. Whether he is recording an rnb joint with Eric Coptic Matlock who produced "I Need a Girl" for Diddy and Usher or composing a classic with world renowned Wayne Brown known for his work with Earth Wind and Fire, George Michael and Billy Ocean. Mensah stays true to himself and always manages to express something real on the track.
Always passionate about expanding his music horizons Mensah has recently teamed up with ace house producer and BCM DJ Paul DeLa Ross to record his latest offering. Dance track "Straddle Me".
Thanks for being a part of David's musical journey.
