I'd like to start by saying that I'm much better at expressing myself through writing, dancing, pretty much anything other than talking with my voice. This is something I am working on though...The thing I tend to do is make a video where I am talking, and after watching it, delete it in dislike. I am probably too self-critical--I am working on this though and plan to submit videos where I am talking soon!! :)

I think there is a beauty and a marvel in spontaneity. Behind not trying to make something piece together or have a form, just a natural happening, an unplanned occurrence. I find something beautiful about being completely unaware of yourself when doing something or creating something. When you see a piece of art that is perfectly executed, it is wondrous and remarkable, and I certainly can appreciate the efforts of that as well...but when you see a piece of art that naturally occurred the way it is, that was not even attempted to be better than anything than what it was in that moment, unplanned, with interesting flaws and details...there's something even more fascinating, more raw, more miraculous to me about that. To not strive for normalcy, but to just be as you think, not a goal that needs to be executed perfectly.

I'm also a vegan. :) It's annoying when I tell people that because they automatically judge and blame any eccentricities I may have on veganism. I honestly never really cared for meat or dairy as much as other foods though, love all the new foods I've discovered (hot dogs that you never find surprises in--always an amazing thing. never worrying about meat being too rare or the hormones in milk--always an amazing thing. never feeling like i'm going to gag while trying to get my calcium from a glass of milk (i hated the taste), also always an amazing thing) and the fact that my dietary preferences help the world, really cheers me and inspires me. I hope one day others see how fun and not deprived at all veganism can be if you just give it a chance. It's worth it, if you care about helping animals and the environment, and also, it really helps your health. I've suffered health problems since childhood, and since becoming vegan, I've been able to live my life normally again. I still get sick every once and a while, but it's so much better than it was before I made the switch. Also, getting rid of dairy totally cleared up my skin!! :) I know it's hard, because meat and dairy are what we were raised with, but I hope there will be a day when minds are opened about veganism and what a great thing it really is.
