About this user
The St. Louis singer-songwriter is best known as lead vocalist-guitarist for Full Day Affair, however, has recently forged a new path as a solo artist.
With smart-pop quintet Full Day Affair, Scott recorded his songs "My World" and "Real," which showcase his intensely emotional and sonically layered style. His single "Fortune for Two" with FDA ("Approved"/Shock City Records) was added to more than 160 college and 30 commercial radio stations across North America, and climbed to the Top 20 at the late 101.1 The River in St. Louis. The successful artist has worked with esteemed producers Chris Loesch and Doug Firley (Gravity Kills) and has also seen his debut album licensed to MTV as well as picked up by the world's leading digital distributor, The Orchard.
Originally from Lawrence, Kan., Scott, 26, formed FDA during his years at Missouri's Truman State University. After drawing crowds of 500-1,000 fans to regional shows, the band made the move to the Gateway City, where regular venues included The Pageant, Mississippi Nights and Pop's. Several national tours with FDA to support "Approved" have polished Scott's showmanship to a fine edge, and his guitar work has been requested on tracks for Motown and Universal Records.
In 2007, the classically trained vocalist looks to new horizons as a free, uninhibited, independent artist with a message stronger than ever and a desire to reach broader audiences.
