Voluntary Simplicity is more than a hobby or interest! It's a way of life, living simply so others can simply live. Our urban-dwelling family grows our own food, hangs clothes on the line, and finds as many ways as possible to have less stuff/activities cluttering our lives so we can focus on what matters --reducing our carbon emissions, living in harmony with the planet's rhythms, and enjoying our relationships. My interests are gardening, writing, teaching others about Simplicity, making music, keeping in touch with family, neighbours and friends.

i absolutely L O V E you! my son is 2 and he loves to sing the "do i need it" song with me, we even sing it in the store and it's helped to remind my whole family that greed can sneak up on you (we generally take pride in resisting the temptations of fads & trends). you're a fantastic teaching aid!

I just want to say, "It is sooo cool to hear music, 'Hover over your left shoulder', from Joan MacIsaac. I am glad that you enjoy playing that song, and you do a nice job of it. She was my second cousin, so thanks for playing her music for the rest of this Country, as many people have probably never known, or have forgotten about her." Cheers!!

I thought your music video on affluenza was really good. Keep up the good work. I am slowly changing my habits in a downshifting manner, as I now understand the consequences of my actions, and that the way society functions is not natural.
