2.33 seconds in. There are flaws in his remarks about marriage (defending contemporary society with the norms accepted in the '50s.. again). Yes, it's a woman's choice and marriage can be a great thing for some people, but saying marital relationships are equal these days is painting another pretty little picture. Domestic violence will affect about 1 in 4 women directly in their lifetime, yes, domestic violence against men exists, of course, but you CANNOT state there does not exist male dominance in a lot of marriages, exacerbated by gender roles accepted in childhood. My cousin got a pink pram for Christmas, and a cooker, my male cousin got an army set. Go figure. These aren't issues that can be sugar-coated or ignored. The blatant contrast between the number of househusbands and housewives is glaring, are women really programmed to make that choice? Has the world changed so much in 60 years that women have completely lost the taint of attitudes prevalent then?
