McCain's comment perfectly characterizes the saber-rattling nonsense that spews out of the collective mouth of the Republican Party. The reality is that radical groups like Hamas desperately need saber rattling opponents so that they can recruit their own impressionable Arab youth towards death in the name of radical Islam. The Republicans have been the best thing to ever happen to radical Islamic extremists. Before the Iraq War, Al Qaeda had no presence or influence in Baghdad. Thanks to George Bush's Iraq War, terrorist groups have been able to recruit new members and organize attacks against Americans on Iraqi soil.
