very nice, but your alcohol stove seems extremely ineffective if it uses that much heat. your probably better off with just a cat stove. You only need one ounce of fuel to burn two cups in about 8-10 minutes

The quest for "ultra light weight" is not worth jeapordizing your health. purchase a metal that is made for heating and approriate for human consumption after heated. I think you can handle carrying the extra 8 ounces.
