Think of it this way. If you had a friend that was in their house, behind closed doors, slitting their wrists, would you turn a blind eye to it? Would you say "It's not hurting anyone else, what he does behind closed doors is none of my business."? Or would you kick the door down, wrestle the knife from his hand and stop him from self destructing, regardless of his beliefs about his choice in the matter?

If youre not born gay, and the facts about the lifestyle show that its unhealthy to the point that it will eventually kill you Theres more than one way to kill yourself behind closed doors. You dont have to use a knife.

My first comment might've seemed a lil' aggressive, but it wasn't intended that way. My views are that homosexual relationships (while I don't necessarily agree with them) shouldn't really be that big of a deal except when it comes to marriage by the church. If the church does not believe in gay marriage, then the government simply can't do anything about that. If civil unions end up granting the same tax status and rights as a marriage, then that is the government's choice to do so. As for the gay's themselves, they could lose alot of the hate and bigotry if they acted more normal. I.e. we don't have "straight parades."




I've known a number of gay men, and had no idea they were gay until later on. I honestly didn't care even after I found out. But when the more flambuoyant ones throw it in people's face, then yes, we become homophobes.
