Have you ever wanted to be part of a church that was full of joy? Have you ever wanted to be a part of something that was making a difference in your neighborhood and around the world? Have you ever longed to be challenged to live life above the mediocrity that you have lived in? Have you ever wished that the person speaking might act like he is actually enjoying their relationship with God?

Welcome to Living Word, "the Church of the Not-So-Normal".

We have decided that we will not take ourselves so seriously but always take God seriously. We have decided that we want to laugh, hug, cry, and believe together. We have decided that we need each other to live for Jesus. We have decided that maybe normal is not everything that it is advertised and Jesus is better than we thought. We have decided that faith really moves mountains but first it must move us. We know that Jesus is the answer, but we are still trying to figure out all of our questions. We know that Love never fails and so we are going to love outrageously. We have decided that we really can change the world, and no one has to pass a law or carry a banner to do it.

We can.

We can take God into our homes, grocery stores, jobs, parks, vacations, marriages, friendships, and churches. We discovered that He was already there, already working, already loving us, helping us, reaching for us. We just decided to let Him do it.
