DJ PROFILE
THE MUSIC:
Electro House:
A thumping genre of electro beats with twisted vocals to set the floor on fire.
Futuristic bass with a twist of freshness to mix the tough with the sexy - labels include;
Azuli, Grooved, M.O.S, Get Physical, 2nd sessions, digital sound and many more.
Funky House:
Uplifting vocal house sets, mainly aimed to bring London's sexiest to the floor.
Heavy hitting melodies from some of the industries hottest labels including;
HeadKandi, Floor Fillers, Defected, Denim Records, Plug-in Records and many more.
The Sets:
Expect an energetic set of Sexy Vocal House and Electro to bring together a mixture of party people from all walks of life. A variety of exclusive tracks, vocal edits and special guests (Alex P, KISS 100s Steve Smart, Coco loco, Audio Pimps and many more) ensure that you will always find "that something different" to make your night one to remember. Occasionally (depending on the venue) you may find a selection of oldskool garage & R&B to please the masses of diversity.
PRODUCTION PROFILE
Livewire:
A twisted blend of Electro House beats incorporating big bass lines and uplifting melodies with disjointed breaks for that full on clubbing effect.
Occasionally quiet partial to productions of a Minimal Tech House nature.
Influences include Sebastien Ledger, Eric Prydz, Bookashade, Meskal Kid etc.
Scene 64:
Scene 64 was founded in early 2008 in the outskirts of Reading and is currently working its way around various areas of the music industry. As part of a two man group, scene 64 (Davide Tamburella and Christan Foden) appeals to a more open minded audiences that do not follow the conventional norms.
What can be expected from a Scene 64 production is a hard hitting selection of mechanical beats with enough melodies to hit most underground & overground dance floors. By cross breeding a healthy diet of DubStep, D&B and Electronica, Scene 64 has created a sound that can only be described as Kitchen Music.
Influences include Aphex Twin, Square Pusher, Pendulum & many many more.
Kitchen Music:
This new breed of music has been slowly cooking through the streets of London and its surrounding areas. Kitchen is a fine selection of mechanically twisted beats followed by electric melodies and breaks that jerk the listener's interest. The productions churned out under this movement can often sit under many genres and therefore not pinpointed to one audience - sldo the reason to how the sound got its name. The fundamentals are quiet basic but can only work if the producers have a great depths of music knowledge; imagine a melting pot, throw everything you have in it, refine and tune the outcome and what you are left with is "that Kitchen Sound".
Glimpse of Kitchen can occasionally be heard in DJ sets across London town.
